Tree house reflection

These past weeks we have been making tree houses.
We had to use perimeter and area to make the 3D
shapes and we had templates to make our designs in.
We could work in buddies or by ourselves.
I was in a group with Georgia.

Our tree house has 4 rooms and a pool and
tyre swing. All of the rooms are different styles.
The rooms we have are called : pet room, dinner
room, pool, main room and the adventure room.
Something that we like is that we finished
on time and we collaborated well.

Bird Species

 For conservation week we were out looking for birds or evidence that birds had been to our school. We saw a lot of different bird species and a couple that were native. In total we found 56 birds and 1 nest.

Over a two day period we were looking at birds in and around Kohimarama School.  The following table show how many bird species we found and the number of those birds.  we found 6 species and one nest.

In new Zealand tuis are fully protected and so are lots other birds so we wanted to learn more about them. Sparrows are very social and live in colonies theses like the albatross and sparrow but there are lots more to.

Crows are another of the birds we found and they have a very interesting diet because they will eat almost easy thing. These are just some of the birds we found because we found a lot more.
In conclusion this is for conversation week, we think that there are a lot of birds that live in kohimarama school,(56 birds and one nest) and  most of the birds are fully protected like the tui.

Good Goals

We have been doing our goals for the year.  What we did was get a hot air balloon made of paper and stuck pictures of our fases on to the backet tied them up and we were done.

Hard workings artists

Lately we have been doing art dedicated to  Andy Warhol . We first started by drawing our face and then in sharpie then we died them different colors and we were  finished the dying part then we had to stick it on cardboard and we were done.
